What This Is
Love, Light & Laughter is a week-long retreat with Lizzie Allan and Indra Jones, offering a heart-centred space to reconnect with yourself, others, and the natural world. Through energy practices, guided journeys, ceremony, humour, and creative expression, the retreat supports a shift from fear-based reactivity toward greater ease, presence, and belonging. Held in nature and grounded in safety, play, and community, this is an invitation to soften, open, and remember what becomes possible when love and laughter are welcomed alongside depth.
The 18th Century Farmhouse
This beautiful, refurbished farmhouse is designed to be a peaceful sanctuary nestled in nature and home to pioneering rewilding and permaculture projects. Join us, July 24 - 31.
A miracle is a shift in perception, from fear to love.
Love, Light & Laughter is a seven-night retreat held by Lizzie Allan and Indra Jones, a shamanic energy medicine practitioner and trauma-informed intuitive therapist, created for people at a threshold — in transition, awakening, or quiet burnout — who are ready to land more fully in themselves and reconnect with others in a real, grounded way.
Lizzie and Indra work together with ease, depth, and playfulness, creating a beautifully protected container where safety, trust, and genuine human connection come first. Within this held space, love, joy, laughter, and deep healing are all welcome, allowing people to relax, open, and be fully themselves.
This is not a self-improvement experience or a traditional retreat. It is a carefully curated, trauma-informed process designed to support deep and lasting transformation. Through nervous-system-aware practices, relational healing, time in nature, and moments of humour and warmth, participants are guided on a journey that fosters regulation, expression, belonging, and a renewed sense of inner steadiness.
Love, Light & Laughter is an invitation to step out of old patterns and into something more spacious, connected, and alive.
Indra jones
Indra Jones is a shamanic energy medicine practitioner and trauma-informed intuitive therapist working with EFT and Matrix Reimprinting to gently untangle deeply rooted patterns and open space for new possibilities.
Her work supports the rewiring of familiar fear-based responses, helping the nervous system recognise that safety, choice, and ease are available in the present. Clients and groups are offered practical, embodied tools that can be taken into everyday life, supporting a shift toward greater vitality, self-trust, and inner steadiness.
Indra’s sessions move fluidly between conversation, guided imagery, body-based awareness, and subtle energy work, always at a pace that feels safe and collaborative. Her approach is not about fixing what is “wrong,” but about remembering what is true beneath layers of protection and adaptation.
At the heart of her work is a deep understanding that we are shaped by belonging, love, and connection—and that many of the beliefs that limit us were never truly ours to begin with. By compassionately exploring feelings of not being enough, of separation, or of being different or unwelcome, clients are supported to honour what they have carried, soften what no longer serves, and reconnect with a more loving and peaceful sense of self.
Indra facilitates online group work and in-person retreats within a clear, heart-centred, and safe container. Even when meeting the deepest wounds, humour and curiosity are welcome, allowing healing to emerge with both lightness, radiance and care.
Lizzie Allan
A therapist, comedian, and recovery advocate, Lizzie Allan has spent more than a decade blending therapeutic insight with the transformative power of humour. Drawing on both extensive training and lived experience, she created Hilarapy—a pioneering approach that uses comedy as a pathway to emotional healing and authentic self-expression.
Lizzie’s work is deeply shaped by her own journey through mental health challenges and recovery, including a formative period of crisis in her early twenties that ignited her commitment to help others heal with honesty, courage, and heart. Through Hilarapy, she guides participants through a unique process that weaves together storytelling, vulnerability, and laughter, helping people transform personal pain into connection and catharsis.
Known for her ability to create safe, compassionate spaces while bringing levity to even the heaviest of topics, Lizzie invites people to embrace their whole selves, release shame, and rediscover joy. Her work reveals the profound healing that becomes possible when courage and comedy meet.
